In Nigeria Christmas is a MASSIVE celebration.

We like to be independent and stick to our culture so turkey is not really a big thing on the menu. If it is on the menu it will most likely not be presented a whole bird sprinkled with salt and pepper and stuffings. The turkey will be cut into portions and thoroughly seasoned with salt, pepper, chilli, chicken stock,Maggi cube, thyme you name it.

The most common traditional christmas dinner constitutes of  PLANTAIN, JOLLOF RICE, FRIED RICE,  STEWED BEEF AND CHICKEN.

Finally! It’s snowing in London!
Time for some hot chocolate, a big jumber and telling stories by the fireplace.. or the heater.
Christmas has officially started.
We love it.
