In the south west of England in the town of Bristol there is a house that is the talk of the town every year. Thousands of people drive around the local area every December just to visit this particular place.

The Christmas house in the area of Brentry, Bristol switched on its lights this evening with a carol service. The lights are then switched on between 5 and 10pm every day until 1st December. In Bristol, Christmas doesn’t begin until the lights of the Christmas house get switched on!

The owners of the Bristol’s most decorated house are Lee, 33, and Paul Brailsford, 31 who spend a month putting up all of the decorations and then go into mid February until all of the decorations are taken down. For those few months, the house becomes the pride of Bristol as it makes around £2,500 from generous donations which are then given to the local children’s hospital.

The house is so well known that it has its own road signs and even gets a visit from Mr Santa Claus himself.

Be sure to take a visit there. One not to miss!
